Artist Comment

I just cannot work on this thing anymore. After working on it for about a week, my brain's just fried, but I'm very proud of how it turned out.

Anyways, introducing a new character, which I really shouldn't until I actually expand on the characters I've already introduced to you guys. That skeleton-looking thing is a Dream-Catcher Spirit named Laramie. That little girl is one of his proteges. See, Dream-catchers (in their little world) come into existence when a mother gives birthing. They are basically good spirits that are to protect a child's mind during 'sleepy time'. However, if the mother has twins or triplets, that means a Dream-catcher is split between the two of them, and if one of them should die... A half of the Dream-Catcher dies too.

That's pretty much what happened to Laramie. That is why he has the zombie-creature look going on at the moment.


ALSO: does anybody else see a black line when they look at this picture? Right above the girl, crossing across the picture? I don't see that in any of my files and I've reuploaded it two times and it is still there! o3o



Technical:


Time to draw outlines on paper: 2 hours ('cause referencing skeletons/muscles and twisting them into a monster is fun when you only have a picture about the size of your palm).

Time in PS7: 8+ hours? At least? I don't really time myself. (Gawsh, so slow.)
