Learning His Wings

More concept work for Mengele.

*FOR MALE BOGIES ONLY*

When Bogeys are first turned/birthed, they're kept at the main Fae city for their 'first childhood' (0-15 years.) For the first part of their life there (0-9 years), they learn basics of shape-shifting and fear-eating. For the second part (9-15 years), when they start becoming territorial, they're assigned to a Boggart, a cousin of the Bogeys. They're then taught survival skills and more advanced transforming techniques.

So here's Mengele at age 8 , messing about and making wings.


After first Childhood: (And remember that Bogeys mature much more slowly than humans do!)

- Second Childhood (15 1/2 - 30)
_{When they're set free into the human world for a few years of just 'survival'. If they make it back, they'll be good Bogeys. Those who come back (somewhere mid-20s) are assigned to towns for 3 years).}
- Teenager Years (31 - 60)
_{When they're assigned their first 5 year towns. They also begin setting and mapping territories more vigorously.}
- Prime Years (60-100)
_{Male Bogies experience year-long severe desires to expand territories during this time period. These are the Bogies that go looking for a fight just to prove how 'dominant' they are. This phase repeats itself after the first year (with a usual span of 2-8 years in between each one).}
- Adult (101+)
_{Territorial expansion urges die down, but still happen every so often. Most Bogies continue on with their normal, scaring-people life, but some return to Fae cities to live there.}

I must still figure out the role of female Bogies. >___> They are MUCH harder.

Also, I probably should stop doing this experimentation with the blurring and blending and return to actual lined things. I think I am losing my ability to see edges. D:
